LiNgz: about me...

suddenly feel like writing this entry to introduce myself.
so let me introduce myself…

well, i’m Ailing.

step into this small little tropical island, Singapore, on 7 sep 1983.
i know i’m old already, at the age of 25 this year (mid 20s!)
generally i’m a happy person.
i believe in doing whatever i like so long as to make myself happy.
after all, we only live once!
i’ve been blessed with a wonderful life.
somehow or rather glad that i was born in this country, n most importantly, in this happy, small family.
Singapore has a high standard of living n has good living conditions (as compared to some other countries la).
criminal penalties are strict and law enforcement rigorous, so living here can considered quite safe.
i stayed at bukit purmei (opposite is mount faber) until age of like 2 or 3 and then moved to bukit batok, where i’m staying now!
i have doting parents n an elder brother.
my parents are strict towards me as well.
or i’d say they are being protective of me.

try hard and u’ll reap its pleasures
b yourself and no one can change you
look people in the eyes and only speak what’s true
be honest and seek the truth
in the end, u’ll see the proof
respect those around you – young and old
no wet heads, you don’t want a cold.

this r the moral values my parents taught me.

i went through kindergarten (k1 & k2), primary school (pri1–pri6), secondary school (sec1-sec5), polytechnic (3 years) and lastly university (3 1/2 years).
‘graduated’ from the kindergarten which is located at hillview,
graduated from bukit view primary school, obtained 177 for my psle result,
got into chua chu kang secondary, normal academic stream, studied what i hate most which is HISTORY!
i f. hate history n the teacher!
so dry…
i super like mathematics!
that’s y i’m so calculative?
especially to my parents.

promoted to sec5 with GCE N-level result of 9 points n graduated with a GCE O-level, obtained 24 points for L1R4 (fyi, is not L1R5).

i was damn lucky enough to get into ngee ann polytechnic.
apparently not many choices i can choose from, that was y i landed in mechatronic engineering.
at first i studied just for the sake to get a diploma, but slowly, i grew interest with the course.
hell lots of calculation!
my favourite…
graduated with a diploma, GPA of 3.596, thus enabled me to further my studies in nayang technological university.
life in university was like hell!
i admit its v stressful!
however, i managed to struggle through.
graduated with a degree of bachelor of mechanical engineering (merit).
i didn’t graduate with my batch thou.
simple reason, i cannot cleared my modules on time!
n the simple truth is that i was not as hardworking as the others!
ive harp on my studies a lot because i spent 19 years of my life studying!

presently i’m working in a marketing and engineering company as a mechanical engineer.
my primary duty is managing project; do research and coordination.
what i like about this company is there are no stringent rules and regulations,
n of course because of the attractive remuneration.
my boss is v generous.
whenever he’s around, he’ll treat us lunch.
what i dislike about this company are the engineers (other than me) here.
they r v dull!
they don’t speak unless relating to work issue!
that’s y i’m more on the same wavelength with the admin staff, joanne n chiew ling.
anyway, i wish i could learn n grow in this company.

i love the bunch of great girlfriends that i’ve.
they have made my life so much beautiful.

i love people who are true to me.

i love myself, music, perfumes, paris, makeup, good movies, number 10, watches, monochrome, pink, red, retail therapy, praises, tulips, lilies, tarnished gold, holiday, sleep, desserts, pastries, LV, Gucci, pigs, manicure, pedicure, ice milo, ice milk tea, ice lemon tea and the list goes on…..

i dislike suntanning because i've got dark complexion.
i don't mind going sentosa with my friends but just allow me to sit under the shade ya.
